They’re either an attempt at a ‘fashionable’ water shoe-like creation, or are so boldly, unapologetically ugly and refuse to attempt to be anything else…it’s a travesty. and I prayed it was just a blip in the fashion radar.Could it be true? That Vibram FiveFingers, the anti-fashion shoe had somehow become fashionable…
I did my best to block this news out, I went on with my life trying to live in a lovely little bubble where beautiful shoes got all the attention, and these hideous-but-practical forms of footwear didn’t exist.
Then I saw this Vogue article about the rise of the ballet sneaker…
