The Starter 🍤

I’m writing this knees up on a sun lounger at Round Hill in Montego Bay, Jamaica. The Caribbean wind is flowing through my hair, my new Miu Miu sunglasses are perched atop my head…and I have a sunburn the colour of a baboon’s arse on my chest. Perfect honeymoon if you ask me!

All jokes aside, we’ve been here three nights and it is pure perfection. I can highly recommend Round Hill - the service and staff are wonderful, and the design of the property is extremely chic. I think I’ve successfully convinced my parents that they need to book a trip here the next time they come to visit the US. We move to GoldenEye next week (about a two hour drive from where we are now), where Ian Fleming wrote all the James Bond novels. I’ll report back on our experience there too.

In the meantime, I’ve been reflecting on our wedding last week. Being completely honest, it’s all Nii and I have spoken about since - but in a good way. It was everything we could have wished for, and obviously if you’re interested I can elaborate further on the details/decisions that really took things to the next level - just let me know in the comments, or reply to this email. However, there were some aspects that really didn’t add much, or were a complete waste of money, and here are three of them:
